Last week I sold my Pentax kit (K10D w/ Tamron 18-250mm) and picked up a Canon 5D body and the following day picked up a Canon 50mm f1.4 lens. I can’t be more happy with this new setup! The quality of my photographs has gone up as I had hopped and I’m finally able to take pictures in very low light and still maintain a high degree of quality, though I have to use manual focus, which is fine, but will take some getting used to.
