I’ve unfortunately been avoiding Vondelpark recently, for personal reasons I wont get into, so I found it interesting to have been invited down to the park for three days straight with various friends. Saturday and Sunday were with a similar group and Monday was spent with a single friend of mine. All three days [...] The first time I went to the Keukenhof, back in 2006, it was a little early and many of the flowers were still hibernating. I wasn’t able to make it out last year for whatever reason, but this year I was adament about making another visit, preferably during the last month it’s open in [...] Another Queen’s day has come and gone, hard to believe I’ve been out here for three already. This year’s Koninginnedag was just as crazy as last years. The streets were turned into oceans of people in all sorts of orange attire. Beer was drank and people hocked their old stuff on the street as [...] The weather today was absolutely amazing! A proper way to start spring and the rest of Amsterdam agreed. Even after almost two and a half years of living in this wonderful city it is still such a fantastic feeling to watch this city come out of hibernation from Winter and into Spring/Summer. Chairs and [...] I need to start posting more, need to distract my noodle from thinking about certain things. Another thing I need to start doing more is riding my bike to new places around town.
