Operational Environment Mockups
While there usually wasn’t much time to spend sketching out rough ideas for solutions, occasionally it did present its self. Below, on the left, are two examples of IPad sketches created while conversing with planners about an idea Operational Environment work space.
As of the time of this project, Planners use traditional mediums and basic programs to create plans. They are then printed out and stored in binders on a shelf. This doesn’t make for an optimal flow for review, cataloging and referencing previous plans.

This example is one of the iterations the planners liked. The ability to create multiple areas and custom shapes with editable coordinates were a couple of the their favorite features.
